A few things you
may be wondering.
About working together.
The first conversation is a chance to ask questions and consider whether working together feels right.
Getting started
What is the first step toward working together?
Start by calling me at (813) 784-0153. We can talk about what brings you to therapy, what you are looking for, and any questions you have about my practice. This conversation helps us consider whether working together makes sense before scheduling a first session.
What happens in the first session?
Simply put, the first session is a chance to get a sense of whether you would like a second session. You can share your concerns, hear my initial thoughts, and ask questions. You’ll also learn more about how I work and what you can expect from therapy.
What does “informed by psychoanalytic thinking” mean?
It describes the perspective I bring to psychotherapy: an interest in your inner life, your history, patterns outside your awareness, and the relationship we develop in therapy. My professional title is psychotherapist and Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Practical arrangements
How can I ask about fees?
Please call me to discuss fees and any other practical questions about beginning therapy.
Where do sessions take place?
My office is at Kennedy Oaks, 3333 W Kennedy Boulevard, Suite 103, Tampa. I also offer telehealth across Florida.
Do you accept insurance?
This is a fee-for-service practice. I can provide a superbill for clients seeking out-of-network reimbursement. Please ask about current fees when we speak; reimbursement depends on your plan.
Men’s groups
What if I’m interested in a group?
I offer two support groups for adult neurodivergent men. Learn about the groups, then call me to discuss joining. An intake session is required before attending either group.
